What Is A CIAS - Certified Investor Agent Specialist?

A Certified Investor Agent Specialist™ (CIAS) desigination insuring that a real estate professional is specifically trained to find, create and close with residential real estate investors.  Through comprehensive education and experience, a CIAS has gained the knowledge and tools to streamline the process of real estate investment and help increase returns for investor clients.

As a A Certified Investor Agent Specialist™ (CIAS) designated REALTOR®, I am committed to helping people who are facing foreclosure by finding the right solution for their individual needs and seeing the issue resolved. In our current economic climate, everyone benefits from the infusion of investment dollars into the real estate market. Investors are finding unbeatable deals on properties at a fraction of their previous price, cash-strapped sellers are getting out of mortgages they can’t afford, real estate agents are working, banks are unloading foreclosed properties and lending again, and as investors rehabilitate their properties, neighborhoods improve. Previously, short sales were a rarely accepted alternative by lenders, but in today's world they are increasingly becoming a viable option. Although more common in recent years, lender's still want the right deal with the right paperwork, and most real estate agents without the CIAS designation do not know the specifics.
